Put some pound coins into treasure chest using the slot. Hand it to the audience or any group. They can play with it for hours but cannot find the secret to open the chest. But in your hands it opens quickly and easily every time.

"A staple for my Christenings is to have this clear box with a red foam heart inside. I tell everyone how God has put a heart to love inside all of us and the secret is to be able to release the love into the world. Living a loving life is harder than you think, so I then bring the children forward – open the box and then pass it along. No-one ever can! Through his life Jesus has shown us the way to live a life of love for others, that’s why we follow his example.
If the kids want to know how it’s done, I just ask them if they can keep a secret. If they say yes, I simply reply “so can I”. I don’t want the routine spoilt by someone who has been there before!
