Viking Prediction lets you correctly predict the runic symbol your spectator secretly chooses.
Your spectator chooses any number between 1 and 8. (No forces). The yellow card above the numbers is turned over to reveal eight Viking runes. They've chosen 5 which is the diamond shape. You reveal your prediction, it's also a diamond! 'By Oden it's a perfect match!' You now reveal the secret meaning of the symbol they have chosen. 'I'm no expert in the Norse language, but I believe this symbol means love.'
The spectator is given a free choice to pick any number. The effect can be repeated with a different symbol selected. With some 'sleight of word', the chosen symbol can be given any meaning that fits with your routine.
Viking prediction is practically self-working, packs flat and can be set up in seconds. Thanks to the highly visible black symbols on the yellow background it can be used with the largest of audiences and congregations.
For a fun family routine, go to town and dress up your spectator as a Viking, with a cloak, horned helm and sword and spin a tale about them selecting the secret symbol for the adventure that lies ahead. And don't forget the gags. 'What do you call a Viking who is a vegetarian? A Norvegan!' (You'll use it.)
