EFFECTS
Four different effects that demonstrate the versatility of this prop.
- Instant Solution - The astonishing effect that's made this prop famous. The cube is mixed up by a spectator and then put into a paper bag. The Magician clicks his fingers and takes out the solved cube. Whoa!
- Multiplication - A single cube is put into an empty paper bag, and two cubes are brought out. It's magically multiplied!
- Disappearance - Two cubes are put into a paper bag. One is brought out and the bag is scrunched up. The other cube has completely vanished!
- On the Same Side - Two cubes are mixed up, one by the Magician and one by a volunteer. Both cubes are found to have identical patterns on all six sides. The odds of that happening are mind blowing.
PRESENTATIONS
Cube magic is great fun with a willing volunteer.
The Instant Solution – 'Let me show you my latest invention,' the Magician proudly says. He holds up a brown paper bag. On the side is written 'Instant Cube Solver' untidily in felt tip. ''Don't laugh. Let me show you how it works.' A spectator mixes up the cube and places it into the paper bag. The Magician shakes the bag, reaches in and brings out the solved cube. 'Tah Dah!' Was there another cube in the bag? Nope and the Magician crushes it into a ball and tosses it out into the audience.
Pattern Recognition - The volunteer and Magician both mix up a cube and put them into separate paper bags. The bags are swapped and each examines the others cube. 'Wow, look at this,' the Magician says. 'Both cubes have the identical pattern on one side. What are the odds?' Another identical side is found, 'That's impossible,' and a third is found, until all six sides are shown to be identical.
Multiplying Cubes - 'Time for an eye test' the Magician says as he places a cube into a paper bag. 'Where did I put the cube?' he asks. 'In the bag,' everyone shouts back. The second time everyone sees that he's awkwardly palming cube. The kids in the front row are quick to point this out. 'Where's the cube?' 'It's in your hand!' the kids scream. He's not fooling anyone. 'One more time.' Into the bag goes the cube. 'Where's the cube?' 'In the bag' What the Magician finds, when he opens the bag surprises him and the audience. Not one but two cubes! 'I guess I'm a magician after all!'
