In an effort to demonstrate the way in which fate or chance often intervenes with our life choices, the performer lays out five pairs of photographs on the table. Each depicts different choices, dice, horse racing, a cross roads, all with differing levels of probability and impact upon our life.
The spectator is invited to rearrange these photographs. The odds are stacked against them, but somehow they've managed to make the right choices. 'The ultimate question is whether we have made the right choices in life, and just for today there is a very easy way to check.' The cards are turned over, and against all odds the letters on the back spell out the word R I G H T. The backs of the other cards spell the word W R O N G! What are the odds?
This effect needs a little practice, but it's more than paid off with the stunning effect that is created.
