THE EFFECT
'Can you keep a secret? Good I want you to pick a card, remember it and keep to yourself.' The spectator freely selects a card, no forces here! It can even be signed. The card is put back into the middle of the deck which you placed on the table. You shake your head sadly. 'I knew this deck is going to cause me trouble.'
You ask the spectator to press down on the deck with their index finger. 'Normally a deck of cards is very well behaved. But this deck just can't keep a secret to itself. It's wants to tell everyone where your card is!' You ask the spectator to stop pressing down and right under their finger the deck cut's itself in the middle, exactly where the spectators card is! 'You can keep a secret, I can keep a secret but this deck, like some people, love to tell other's what they know!'
