The Great Escape is a stage-filling effect with an amazing moment of magic and a powerful biblical message. A large red ball miraculously flies off the two ropes, illustrating how we can escape from the Sin in our lives.
The performer has two lengths of rope and three large coloured balls, red for Sin, white for God and blue for Us. The red ball is firmly tied onto the ropes; that ball is going NOWHERE. The blue and white balls are threaded onto the ropes, one on each side. The rope is held taut by two volunteers. 'See how Sin (the red ball) comes between God and us! (the white and blue balls). But there's good news!' The volunteers pull on the ropes, and the red ball FLIES OFF! The impossible has been achieved. Sin has been removed and our relationship with God has been restored. Thank you Jesus!
