THE PRESENTATION
The Performer shows 3 cards that illustrate the events of Good Friday - Mary weeping, a stern Roman Soldier and Jesus on the Cross.
All 3 cards are then placed inside a folder. But the story takes an unexpected turn. The folder is turned round to show a picture of the empty tomb.
The Roman Soldier card is taken out of the folder and put to one side as the Performer explains how the guards ran away. The Mary card is taken out from the folder as the Performer explains her shock when she finds the empty tomb. The Performer then claims that the card showing Jesus has disappeared!
The audience glimpse the edge of another card peaking out from the folder. ‘There’s Jesus!’ the kids shouts! The performer tries to hide the card in increasingly absurd ways but the secret is out! Or is it?
When the card is taken out there's a BIG surprise. It's a different card. This one has an Angel on it. 'Let's see the back!' the kids insist. After some funny ‘bits of business’ the Performer turns the card over to show the words ‘He Is Risen’ is printed on the back.
The audience is dumbfounded. The Jesus card has really disappeared . The Performer closed by explains how Jesus was miraculously raised from the dead and what that means for each one of us.
