Three small wands are placed on a table. Each is given a shake to show that only one rattles. The wands are mixed up slowly at first. It's obvious where the rattling wand is. But the wand the spectator picks doesn't rattle! The wands are mixed up again and again the spectator gets it wrong. No matter how hard they try, how carefully they follow the rattling wand they will always pick the wrong one!
A powerful illustration of how the importance of humility; we think we know it all but do we really? A fun way to show how life is full of surprises. Things don't always work out as we expect them to.
