Product Description
Four cards, two magical changes and an intriguing story of the illusion of royal power. This packet trick packs a punch.
The performer has four kings: two black kings facing up and two red kings facing down. Squaring the cards, the performer makes a magical gesture, and the kings change places. The red kings are now face up, the black kings face down. A quick and impressive change. But you ain't seen nothing yet. With one smooth move the four kings change into four aces. And for those doubters, the backs of each ace can be shown. The kings have left the building!
A fun packet trick that requires no sleight of hand. With easy-to-follow instructions, you'll be confidently performing this within minutes.
Here's an imaginative presentation. Explain that each of the four kings is a historical figure. The King of Spades is David, King of Israel from the Old Testament and the King of Club is Alexander the Great, King of Macedonia. Make the magical change to the red kings, and introduce the King of Hearts is Charlemagne, the first Holy Roman Emperor, and the King of Diamonds is the Roman Caesar Augustus (who wasn't technically a king but certainly acted like one). Kings are powerful, but like in any card game, there is always someone greater. Reveal the four aces that trump the kings and, if you want an evangelistic twist, observe that there is a heavenly king who every king has to bow down to.
