The effect: A board is displayed that is divided into 6 equal squares. The performer makes a prediction which is written in one of the top squares and covered so as not to influence the audience. A spectator is asked for any random thought, such as a name, color, number, etc. This is written below the magicians prediction and remains in full view. Twice more predictions are made and random thoughts recorded in a like manner. When the performers predictions are revealed, they match exactly the spectators random thought.
The joy of this routine is that anything can be written down in the 3 squares giving this effect amazing flexibility.
