Product Description
'Within a few minutes of opening it I was performing with borrowed coins and once again, my family is in awe!' Russell Y
They'll see it but they won't believe it!
Place three 10p coins (or quarters) into the case so they can be seen through the holes in the top of the lid. Cover the coins with a piece of paper and close the lid. Take a pencil and push it through any one of the holes. The pencil goes right through the paper and the coin. Everyone can see the pencil has pierced the coin. Repeat with the two other coins. And for the grand finale, open the frame and reveal that the piece of paper has punched holes but the coins are unharmed.
How did the wooden pencil pass through the solid metal coins without making a hole? Only you know the secret.
You'll love this self-working effect. The case does all the work, leaving you to cast your spell over your audience as you perform the impossible. The coins and the pencil can all be borrowed, adding an extra layer of mystery. The case itself can be handed out for examination. There's nothing to find! The effect can be immediately repeated, making this a fun effect for table hopping.
For a church worker, this is a powerful illusion for any message about the cross. Christ was pierced for our transgressions. (Isa. 53:5) Swap out the pencil for three large nails, and you will have something very special. And the spectator goes away with a unique souvenir, three coins and the pierced piece of paper.
We're confident Pierced Coins will take your close-up magic to a 'hole' new level!
Comes complete with: a black plastic case with gold circles (11x4x1cm) and DiFatta's exclusive illustrated instructions. Use any pencil or pen, three 10p coins or US quarters and a slip of paper (not included).
