EFFECT
The Performer brings out his stand with 3 numbered slots for cards. He hands the volunteer a deck. Having watched the volunteer shuffle the cards the Performer predicts which cards will be chosen. He's even confident enough to predict which order they will be in! The Performer writes down his 3 predictions on the back of the stand.
The volunteer now secretly selects 3 face down cards and slides them into the 3 slots. The Performer stares at the cards with a puzzled look.The odds of being correct are incredibly small. Then he breaks into a smile and turns the stand around. His prediction is a perfect match.

Use this prop for ANY message. Here's how. Swop the standard deck for images printed on card stock. Make these up using your own printed and cut the A4 sheets to size. Or buy a deck of blank cards or flash cards and use a permanent pen to write words, names and letters on. You could even use photos cut to size.
Now you can predict:
- 3 numbers - a page number in the bible, or chapter and verse.
- 3 different words - the key words in your message or ready

PRESENTATION TIPS
The impact of this effect is dependent on your presentation, the story you weave around it. A professional magician might suggest that this is an experiment to see if they can predict a volunteer's choice by reading their body language or understanding their personality. Perhaps it's a demonstrating that no choice is ever random. We are more predictable that we think. Or that any person's choice can be subconsciously influenced. TOP TIP
The prediction is written down using a white board maker, which can be wipe off without leaving a trace at the end of the performance. Alternatively, you could use Post It notes, cut to size and stuck onto the white areas.
