THE EFFECT
Your next trick is BIGGER and BETTER - and that means you need a BIGGER & BETTER WAND. You pull the oversized wand out of your bag. The kids are already smiling at your big silly wand.
You start to wave it around and POP!!! One of the white ends shoots up into the air and lands PLOP in the audience. Kids are laughing as they scrabble to find the end and give you it back to you. You push it back on and POP!! The other end of the wand shoots away and bounces on the ground. You VERY carefully put the end back on. You stare at both ends of the wand. Everything seems OK. But as soon as you start to say the magic words POP!!! one of the ends falls off AGAIN! Except this time you don't notice and the kids go potty telling you the wand is missing its end. And the longer you insist that the wand is fixed the louder they shout and the crazier it gets.
