Product Description
An incredible penetration of a solid wooden block through a wooden sword.
A collector quality prop made from polished teak by the Italian experts in magic Vincenzo DiFatta.
Perfect for small groups, youth groups, church services, school assemblies and even parties.
EFFECT
Two rectangular tubes are positioned one on the other. A small sword is passed between two holes in the tubes, stopping any objects from passing from one tube to the other. The magician then drops a die in the upper tube. The die can be heard to knock against the sword. He makes a magical gesture, raises the two tubes and strikes them down on his open left hand. The die, magically, will penetrate the sword and fall into the magician’s hand!
The trick is repeated a second time. However, this time the cube does not seem to penetrate the sword. After trying a couple of times, the magician takes off the upper tube and realises why… now the cube has penetrated by the sword!
Beautifully made wooden prop you'll be delighted to own and love using
PRESENTATION
Following the pattern of the great magicians of stage such as Thurston and Kellar you can introduce this as a demonstration of some little known quantum effect. The idea of a solid is really an illusion.
GOSPEL IDEAS
This prop is perfect for demonstrating the barrier sin has caused between mankind and God (Isaiah 59:2) and how the death and resurrection of Jesus has overcome that. The sword and blocks form a cross, the red cube allows you to talk about the blood of Christ and the sword reminds us of the spear used to pierce Jesus side.
