This fun 'sucker' trick is very visual and has LOTS of audience involvement. We love this prop. The hand-held stage is beautifully made in wood, colourfully decorated and has a fun tasseled 'theatre' curtain. EFFECT
You drop a large playing card between two wooden boards, that sit top of a small stage. You say the magic words, remove the boards and VOILA!...the card has vanished. Your audience is amazed until you 'accidentally' reveal the card hidden underneath the stage. Oops! Should have practised more.
You try to rescue things by perform the trick again, this explaining the art of misdirection. However, when the curtain is pulled back, the card HAS vanished. WOW! Now that is a SURPRISE for you and your audience. You smile and shrug. Maybe you're a magician after all.
