'Noah Cards Plus the Nativity' is our good friend David O'Connor's magical way of telling the story of Noah or the Nativity.
It's all about magically matching the images on the cards. Ten jumbo-sized cards are dealt into two face-down piles. Your volunteer mixes up the cards as they spell out the letters in your magical phrase, occasionally putting two cards aside. The mixing and spelling continue until only two cards remain. The cards have been randomly mixed into pairs, so imagine the surprise when the last two cards are turned over and the colours and images match. But that's just the start. The other pairs of discarded cards also match. A pair of camels, a pair of donkeys and a pair of doves. If it's the Nativity story, there's a pairing of stars and angels and Mary and and Joseph. If it's the Noah story, there's a pairing of Noah and his wife.
With everyone's imagination fired by the magically matching pairs of animals and people, you're perfectly placed to use the images to tell the story of Noah or the Christmas Nativity.
