Product Description
Your friends will have no idea how a metal ball penetrates a solid wooden blade - especially as they can examine all the props before and after.
This is a beautifully made collector's quality illusion that is a real magician fooler.
A wooden tube, a wooden blade and a steel ball are shown. The performer pushes the blade into the middle of the tube through two slits. The ball is dropped into the top of the tube and hits the blade with a clunk. Nothing is getting past it. The tube is tipped and the ball rolls out. 'That's physics.' The ball is dropped into the top of the tube again, but this time it PASSES RIGHT THROUGH THE BLADE, falling out of the bottom. 'And that's magic!'
Practically self-working, repeat immediately, everything can be examined before and afterwards.
The Melting Ball Illusion can be performed one-to-one with a friend or colleague, to a group in a parlour setting or on stage with a volunteer.
There are lots of ways to present this. Why not explain that you want to recreate Houdini's famous trick of walking through a solid wall, but your budget only stretches to a ball passing through a blade!
For gospel magicians, this can be used to illustrate any message on the resurrection and the 'Power of the Cross'. Have you noticed that when the blade is inserted into the tube, it forms a cross? Perform the illusion and explain that because of Jesus death on the cross, we can pass from death to life, just as the ball passes through the barrier created by the pen. An instantly memorable message.
Whether you're an amateur or a professional magician, you'll have a 'ball' with this latest illusion from DiFatta Magic.
Comes complete with wooden tube (13.5x3.4x3.4 cms), wooden blade (12.5 cm long), steel ball and detailed printed instructions.
