A coin is borrowed and placed on the mat. Two rings are stacked, one on top of the other and the Mystery Card is put on top. This stack is placed over the coin. A magic word is said, and when the Mystery Card is lifted, the rings are empty, the coin has vanished! The card is replaced, the stack is lifted and the coin reappears.
Think you know how it's done? Not so fast! With Kupper's version, the rings can be handed out and examined afterwards. Now that had us badly fooled.
