You show everyone a red and blue silk hankies that are tied together. You pass both silks quickly through your hand and they change colours to yellow and green. Now no-one was expecting that!

Run the red and blue hankies through your hands several times, mentioning that life can often be a struggle. The colour Blue reminds us how often we've blew it. We've treated our friends and family badly, said and done the wrong things. The colour Red reminds us of how angry we can feel, about things that have happened to us. Life is so unfair.
The Bible teaches us that we should put all things into God's hands. 'Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you.' 1 Peter 5:7
When we trust God he will change things, sometimes in the most unexpected ways. Run the silks through your hands so they change to Green and Yellow. The colour Green reminds us that God promises to give us a new life and a new start. The colour Yellow reminds us how precious we are to God. He does not make rubbish. We are pure gold in his eyes.
Wave the two hankies around as you say that's something we should all celebrate. Hurrah! Put the hankies away and close by asking if we will put our lives into God's hands.
