LESSON #20 THEME - The Cross is the Only Way to Heaven
VERSE - May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Galatians 6:14
MATERIALS - Paper and scissors.
EFFECT - A sheet of paper is cut up, and the pieces are turned into a Cross and spell the letters HELL.
EXTRACT FROM SCOTT'S PRESENTATION
The teacher gave Johnny a piece of folded paper. 'I'm going to call this a ‘Ticket to Heaven’. It’s something to remind you that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, and you will go straight to heaven when you die.’
Now David, who was sitting next to him said, ‘Hey Johnny, please can I have some of your ticket to heaven?’ Johnny told David that there was no such thing as a ticket to heaven. But being a good friend, he got a pair of scissors and cut his ticket to heaven and gave some of it to David.
