I want to talk about these two guys. (Show the two balloons with faces drawn on). They're Christians, and they're happy. If you’re a Christian, you should be. You should have the joy of the Lord within you.
In fact, most Christians that I know walk around they look pretty happy. But over time things go wrong. What's going to happen to you and to the joy you get from Jesus, when heat is applied to your life?
I know a lot of people who walk around with a big smile on their face. Then something bad happens. (Place the normal balloon over the flame). A little heat gets added to their life and they lose their joy. (Balloon pops).
