THE EFFECT
The performer shows the black and white pictures of a magic show. The kids in the audience rub colours off their clothes and throw them at the book. When it's opened, the pictures are coloured in. Now to rub out the colours so we can do that again! Grab your invisible eraser and rub rub rub! Oh no! We've rubbed too hard and all the pages are blank.
The audience helps the performer out by drawing the shape of a wand and a top hat in the air with their fingers. Open the book and show the lines of the pictures have been magically drawn back in! 'Shall we do that again?' And the pages are magically filled with colour.
