The Comedy Egg & Milk Can is our own unique twist on a routine used by many professional magicians. It's the classic 'magician in trouble' gag, where everything goes wrong before it magically goes right. No one ends up with egg on their face...just a huge grin!

THE EFFECT
Oh No! Your new trick has gone wrong. The volunteer has ended up with an upturned can of milky egg mixture on their head. You say a magic work ‘I hope this works’ and when you lift the can, sweets cascade out. Not the milky mess everyone was expecting. Now that IS magic.

PRESENTATION
You've just received a new trick and you'd like to perform it tonight, for the first time. You have the instructions, so what could go wrong!
You take out the props you'll need - a carton of eggs, a glass of milk and metal can. Now you a guinea pig, sorry I meant a volunteer. With the volunteer seated you pour the contents of the egg and the glass of milk into the can. The instructions now tell you turn the can upside down on top of the volunteer’s head. There's a chuckle from the audience and a worried look on your volunteer's face. Don't worry. You have a fool-proof idea. You slap the instructions card onto to the top of the can and turn it upside down. Clever you. The card keeps the mixture from running out. The can and card goes on top of your volunteer's head! Now what was the next step?
In a moment of forgetfulness you pull the instructions out from under the can. The audience realise you made a DISASTROUS MISTAKE! The laughter gets louder when they see what's printed inside the instructions - DO NOT REMOVE! 'Can we leave our volunteer with egg and milk in their hair?' Everyone, of course, shouts back 'YES!'
But this is a magic trick and you're a magician. You ask everyone to say the magic words 'I really hope this works'. You cautiously lift the can and SURPRISE! Sweets cascade out of the can. Inside is a clear tumbler filled with more sweets. A sweet magical ending and an excellent reward for your wonderful volunteer.
Just add an egg, milk and sweets for hilarious comedy magic.
