A classic of magic now in available beautiful white enamelled bowls, a nice change to the normal metal ones. They look like everyday objects making the effect even more surprising.
EFFECT
The performer shows a large empty white bowl. It's lifted up and gently moved around. When it is tipped over water pours from it into a second bowl! Something from nothing, liquid from mid-air! The bowls continue to magically fill with water. Every time they are emptied they fill with water again. This can be repeated again and again with the bowls filling with water.
Similar effect to the LOTA Bowl - but with a unique presentation that makes it even more baffling. This effect is some times known as 'Waters from Above' as the appearing water is taken as a gift from the above!
PERFORMANCE IDEAS
Ideal as a standalone trick, or if you need water for a particular routine. Perhaps you are magically baking a cake and the recipe calls for water. Or trying to grow some flowers, but of course they need water to thrive. Or a running joke when you get thirsty throughout your show and need a drink at regular intervals!
It's easy to vanish the water after you've produced it, and we don't mean by drinking it! You can use slush powder to seemingly freeze it or make it disappear, or snow powder for Christmas shows (Both available from us at Mission Magic).
GOSPEL IDEAS
The production of water multiple times makes this effect ideal for a retelling of different biblical stories such as:
- Moses getting water from a rock (Num 20:11)
- the widows endless jar of oil (2 Kings 4:4)
- Jesus being baptised (Matt 3:13).
Ideal effect for baptisms. Use water coloured with red food dye and use it to symbolise the blood of Jesus shed for all.
