A water effect that will bowl your audience over.
The performer shows two empty bowls. One is lifted up and gently moved around. When it is tipped over water pours from the previously empty bowl into the other! Something from nothing, liquid from mid-air. This can be repeated again and again, each time the bowls fills with water. Emptied them into a glass which steadily fills up with water during the performance.
Practically self-working, these bowls are the handy-size version of the classic effect 'Waters from Above', where the appearing water is taken as a gift from the gods.
Performers can add this directly into their shows. For the church worker, it's the perfect illustration for baptism services, any talk on God's endless blessings or the Water of Life, and retellings of biblical stories such as Moses getting water from a rock (Num. 20:11), the widow's endless jar of oil (2 Kings 4:4) and Jesus' baptism (Matt 3:13).
