Dan uses a handkerchief covered in spots to represent sin, and a red bag as the blood of Christ and the punishment he took. The spots vanish leaving holes (well, Jesus is Holy!) and are found on the inside of the bag, to demonstrate that Jesus took all of that sin upon Himself on the cross.
