The performer shows a pulls a YELLOW shoelace through their closed fist and changes it to GREEN. But now everyone wants to see what is in the closed fist...could the magician just have swapped one for the other!
The younger ones in the audience are not slow in calling out. 'Open your hand!' 'It's in your hand.' 'Oh no it isn't.' 'Oh yes it is!' Eventually the performer relents and opens their hand. Inside is a lace but its RED! Where did that come from!
A classic 'sucker trick' in the nicest possibly way!
