EFFECT
The performer shares the trouble they are having selecting the right Christmas card to send out. A volunteer is invited on stage to help select one of the five cards the performer has shortlisted.
Will your volunteer pick the right Christmas card?
Four envelopes and the Christmas cards they contain are eliminated by the volunteer. The Christmas cracker joke found on the back of each card is read out, to the delighted groans of the audience.
One envelope is left. Inside it is the Christmas card the volunteer has selected for the performer. The card is taken out and ‘joy to the world’ it's a nativity scene. The volunteer has chosen the perfect card and discovered the true meaning of Christmas.
The presentation ends with the Bible verse on the back of the card being read out and the volunteer receiving a copy of the Nativity picture as a souvenir.
