With the Six Days of Christmas you can share the nativity story with an impossible colour prediction.
'These are the Six Days of Christmas', you explain, pointing to the number board. 'Twelve is far too many!' Your volunteer is given a closed drawstring bag to hold and is asked to pick one of the days. It's a completely free choice; they can change their mind anytime. They call out a number and you turn over the top board, revealing six coloured baubles, one for each number. They've picked red. Now they open the bag that contains your prediction. Inside is a red bauble, it's a perfect match! 'I'm glad you picked red because it symbolises the joy and love everyone felt at the birth of Jesus.'
And what are the six days of Christmas? 'ONE for Jesus, TWO for Mary and Joseph, THREE for gold, frankincense and myrrh, FOUR for Isaiah's 'four-sight' in prophesying Jesus' birth and FIVE for a high five in celebration. Aren't you SIX of Christmas being about everything but Jesus?'
