Blending 4 coloured hankies into one is a classic of magic that has always amazed audiences. The colours appear to blend together in mid-air! It's all the more magical for being performed with your bare hands.
This value version is super easy to do using the gimmick provided, making this perfect for any school assembly, church service, community event or youth group.
EFFECT
The performer displays five large chiffon hankies - red, green, blue, black and yellow. The black hanky is removed and with a flick of the wrist the colours instantly blend into one large 24 inch hanky, each quarter being one of the four original colours.
Can also be performed using a change device such as a change bag, magic drawer box or chick pan, allowing a volunteer to do the effect.
PRESENTATION
The perfect effect to open any magic presentation as it's quick and very visual. Works very well performed to music.
For a spoken routine the colours can represent anything you want e.g. fruit - strawberry, banana and blueberry. Mix all the fruits together and transform the loose silks into one big fruit salad!
A quick gag. Drape the finished silk over your head, then peek from underneath and say 'it's my head-quarters!' (Dan takes no responsibility for groans and heckling caused by that gag or any of his other puns).
Drop the 24 inch silk into any change bag and ask the audience to throw in other colours. Make the secret-switch and produce a large rainbow streamer...the longer the better! (Large streamers sold separately)
